This page explains, in plain terms, what CLUTCHROOM PC CLUB does with the details you share when you book a seat or email us. We keep it short because we keep the data short — we're a PC club, not a data business.

Who this covers

This policy applies to clutchroom.live and to CLUTCHROOM PC CLUB at 120 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia. It covers the information we handle when you use the booking form, email the desk, or visit the club. If you don't agree with how we handle your details, the simplest option is not to send them — but you're always welcome to ask us a question first.

What we collect

When you use the booking form we record the name and email you type, the date you want, and the room and block you choose. That is the whole list. We do not ask for a payment card, a date of birth, or a phone number through this site — payment happens at the desk when you arrive. If you email us, we naturally keep the email itself so we can reply.

Why we hold it

We use those details for one thing: running your visit. Holding your seat, confirming the booking, and reaching you if a plan changes or the club has to close a room. That's it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your details, we do not build advertising profiles, and we run no ad trackers on this site. Nothing you send us goes anywhere near a marketing list unless you specifically ask to be on one.

How long we keep it

Booking records are cleared on a rolling basis once your visit has passed and there's no open question about it — a refund query, a lost-property claim, or a group booking still being arranged. Email threads are kept only as long as they're useful to the club. Ask us at any time and we'll delete your details sooner where we're not legally required to keep them.

Who can see it

Your details stay with the small crew that runs the club and the standard tools we use to receive email and hold bookings. We don't hand your information to advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if the law requires it — for example, a valid request from a law-enforcement or regulatory body — but that's the exception, not the routine.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no tracking cookies and loads no third-party analytics or advertising pixels. Web fonts load from Google Fonts so the page renders as designed, which means your browser contacts Google's font servers. That's the only third party in the loop. Full detail lives in our Cookie Policy.

Keeping it safe

We hold as little as possible, for as short a time as possible — the strongest privacy control there is. The details we do keep are handled with reasonable care and access is limited to the people running the club. No online system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise the impossible, but we don't collect the high-risk data (cards, ID numbers) that would make a breach costly to you in the first place.

Children

The booking form is intended for adults arranging a visit. If a younger player is coming in, a parent or guardian should handle the booking and any questions. If you believe a child has sent us personal details without a guardian's involvement, email us and we'll remove them.

Your rights under Australian law

CLUTCHROOM PC CLUB operates in Australia, so your personal information is handled under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you and to have it corrected. If you believe we've mishandled it, raise it with us first — and if it isn't resolved, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC, oaic.gov.au).
