Disclaimer
We tune every seat for the lowest latency we can hand you and run the floor with real care — but there are honest limits on what a PC club can promise. This page draws that line so nobody's expectations get ahead of what we actually control.
The gear is dialled in, not magic
Every station runs the same fast build on a high-refresh panel, wired for a short path to the server. That gives you a fast, consistent seat — it doesn't win the round for you. Low latency removes an excuse; it doesn't remove the opponent. Any claim we make about the setup is about the hardware and the tuning, never about how you'll place.
No promises on ranks or results
CLUTCHROOM sells time and conditions, not outcomes. We don't guarantee you'll climb, win a match, hit a rank, or beat anyone at the Duel. The games happen here, but the result is on the player. Anyone telling you a venue can promise a rank is selling something we're not.
Things outside our control
Online play depends on the game publisher's servers, your accounts, and the wider internet — none of which we run. Matchmaking, ping to a distant server, ban waves, patch-day chaos, and outages at a publisher are outside our hands. We keep the room, the machines, and our own connection in good shape; beyond our four walls, we can't make guarantees for systems that aren't ours.
Third-party accounts and content
Any game accounts you log into on our machines, and any purchases you make in those games, are between you and the publisher under their terms — not ours. We don't control what happens to a third-party account, and we're not responsible for bans, losses, or charges on services we don't operate.
Interruptions happen
We aim for a clean, uninterrupted session, but power, network, and hardware can fault without warning. If something on our side interrupts your paid time, we make it right — the details are on the Refund Policy page. What we won't do is pretend downtime never happens; we'd rather tell you how we handle it.
Information on this site
We keep the rates, rooms, and hours on this site accurate and current, but details can change and small errors slip through. The price and availability that apply are those confirmed for your booking or shown at the desk on the day. Nothing on these pages is legal, financial, or professional advice — it's a description of a gaming club.
Your own safety and belongings
Use the seats, the gear, and the room sensibly and take reasonable breaks — long sessions are a personal call. You're responsible for the belongings you bring in; lost property goes to the desk, but we can't be responsible for items left behind.
Your rights aren't cut down
Nothing on this page removes or limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that our services are provided with due care and skill and can't be excluded. This disclaimer sets expectations; it doesn't override your legal rights. Questions go to [email protected].
